Setting up file sharing for a dummy.

I have a Vista laptop and a XP laptop, both connected to the BT HomeHub wirelessly.

All i want to be able to do is share files from the vista laptop to the xp laptop.
I dont care if its wirelessly or via ethernet.

Alll I need is step by step on how to get this going becuase everything i read just doesnt work or make sense.

Please dont post links becuase they are what arent making sense.

Please can any one help, surely its not supposed to be this difficult!!
